العنف في مکان العمل: اختبار العوامل المؤثرة في سلوک العنف الممارس ضد الکادر الطبي في المستشفيات الأردنية

المستخلص

بعض الباحثين قَصر تعريف العنف على الاعتداء الجسدي، ولکن تم توسعة هذا التعريف ليشمل الاعتداءات غير الجسدية، مثل التعدي اللفظي. يحوز العنف الممارس ضد العاملين في القطاع الصحي على اهتمام متزايد عالميًا، وهذا مرده إلى سعة انتشار وتکلفة هذه المشکلة السلوکية. إن تکلفة سلوک العنف تشمل جوانب مادية وأخرى غير مادية، مثل انعکاس هذا السلوک على مستوى رضا العاملين في القطاع الصحي.
من هنا يُنظر إلى هذا السلوک على أنه مشکلة جوهرية تواجه العاملين في قطاع الخدمات الصحية. في العالم العربي بشکل عام والأردن بشکل خاص، يعتبر العنف والاعتداء على الأطباء والممرضين مشکلة رئيسة تواجه العاملين في القطاع الصحي، مما يتطلب ضرورة التصدي لها بالدراسة والتحليل العلمي. بالرغم من إدراک الرأي العام والجهات الحکومية لهذه المشکلة يوجد ضعف وشُح معرفي فيما يتعلق بأسباب ودوافع هذه المعضلة السلوکية اللا أخلاقية.
إن استجابة الحکومة للتعامل مع هذا السلوک الهدام من أجل الحد منه تمثلت في سَنِّ تشريعات وتشديد العقوبات وإنشاء مراکز أمنية في بعض المتشفيات. حصر الجهد في الجوانب القانونية والتشريعية بالرغم من أهميتها، غير کافٍ للقضاء على سلوک العنف. ولا أدل على ذلک من نسبة الزيادة في أعمال العنف بالرغم من وجود القوانين التي تهدف للحد من هذا السلوک. وهناک بديل أفضل هو الدراسة العلمية لهذا السلوک بهدف تحديد الأسباب الدافعة لهذا السلوک ومعالجتها.
هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى بحث تأثير مجموعة من المتغيرات الشخصية والبيئية على السلوک العدائي. بعبارات أکثر تحديدًا قام الباحثان بدراسة تأثير متغيرات رضا المرضى، والحاجة للانتقام، والتساهل مع العنف، وحالة الغضب، وقيم العنف السائدة. أجريت الدراسة على عينة تکونت من 216 مراجعًا لثلاثة مستشفيات حکومية. وقد أيدت نتائج تحليل البيانات فرضيات الدراسة. وبناءً على نتائج الدراسة تمت مناقشة التوصيات والمقترحات للدراسات المستقبلية.
