This study aims to identify the effectiveness and adequacy of government policies in supporting the national product and its impact on sustainable development, and to clarify the level of coordination between the competent authorities to support the national product. In addition to identifying citizens’ satisfaction with the policies followed and the challenges facing the policies. To achieve the purpose of the study, the study relied on the descriptive analytical method by following the qualitative method to conduct (6) interviews with the competent authorities in the subject of the study, and on the quantitative method in distributing (45) questionnaires to citizens. In the end, the study found that there is great interest from the Palestinian side with regard to supporting the national product, and this was evident in the presence of policies and decisions by law and laws issued by the competent authorities in supporting the national product, and the study showed the weakness of the effectiveness and adequacy of the policies used to support the national product. Based on this, the most prominent recommendations were the need to work on strengthening the laws and decisions related to supporting the national product, by developing the penal conditions and penalties to be more deterrent. And the need to strengthen the plan to develop Palestinian products and increase their share locally.
