The Moderating Role of Management Support in the Relationship between Modern Financial Technology Trends and the Quality of Electronic Banking Services In the Jordanian Banking Sector: Case Study of Cairo-Amman Bank

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the role of management support in the relationship between modern trends in financial technology and the quality of electronic banking services in the Jordanian-banking sector. The study population consisted of all branches of Cairo Amman Bank. to achieve the objectives of the study, a questionnaire was developed and distributed to all managers and assistant managers of Cairo Amman Bank branches in Jordan totaling (178), and (152) questionnaires were retrieved, of which (151) were valid for analysis, and in order to test the hypotheses, the structural equation model (PLS-SEM) was used.
The study conducted by the researchers reached a set of results, the most important of which was the existence of a positive relationship between all modern trends of modern financial technology to improve the quality of electronic banking services. The results also showed that there is a role for the modified variable, management support, in the relationship between recent trends in financial technology and the quality of electronic banking services in the Jordanian-banking sector.
Based on the findings of this study, the researchers recommend many recommendations, the most important of which is giving the modern trends of financial technology more importance within the Jordanian banking sector to increase the quality of electronic banking services. The researchers also recommend the bank’s management to speed up the adoption of new financial innovations and creations to maintain its position in light of the fierce competition between it and financial technology companies, which provide many banking services that provided within the banking sector. Finally, the researchers recommend conducting more studies on this subject in other commercial banks in Jordan.
